heart of glass (1976)

weird as fuck! insane film abt capitalism and the environment and the end of the world. it is gorgeous, unsettling, and incredibly odd. my favorite lore is that herzog hypnotized all the actors except the main character and the glass blowers (for safety). read more about that in this book or read herzog’s summary here.
